I'm Ray Middelthon

I am 52 years old, and the father of 3 beautiful children, 23, 19 and 10 years old. I have an amazing wife (if I do say so) who is a high school teacher (God bless her), and I have been in the health and wellness field for 25 years and counting.
I have a diverse range of experience areas, including Personal Training Club Management, one-on-one training, group programming, corporate fitness, comprehensive wellness and nutrition guidance and post rehabilitation. My educational background (I hold a degree in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University), coupled with decades of practical experience, has positioned me with the knowledge and expertise to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
Aging (as I said, I am now 52) has taught me even more so the importance of strength, mobility, flexibility, and good nutrition to maintaining independence and longevity later in life. This has inspired me to shift my career focus away from the more youthful endeavors of fitness aesthetics, to help those like me facing the sometimes daunting but exciting second half of life. I would dare say I am in better overall shape now in my 50’s than I was in my 20s and 30s and I want to share that with you! As cliché as it sounds, it truly is never too late to make changes to your health and wellness that will change your life for the better!
